Los Angeles area residents: Catch the bus in either Claremont, Riverside, or San Bernardino in order to meet your guide in Victorville by 1:15 PM sharp. The current schedule is posted below. After your land sailing regatta, you'll have time for a snack or dinner in Victorville before boarding the bus home.

San Diego area residents: Allow yourself up to 2 hrs to get to the recommended departure depot: Riverside.

Why take the bus?? When everyone arrives in Victorville together (rather than one vehicle at a time), it helps ensure your land sailing adventure will begin on time. Also, it is the safest method for desert and mountainous highway travel.

However if you insist on driving your own car to the desert, please call ahead for driving directions to the exact meetup location adjacent to El Mirage dry lake. You will then be able to follow behind your guide from there to the Land Sailing Tours staging area.
